Pot Light Layout Rules of Thumb
- Distance between pot lights should equal approximately half the ceiling height (e.g., 4 ft apart on an 8 ft ceiling).
- Distance from wall to first light should be half the distance between lights to prevent wall shadows.
- Always select IC-rated (Insulation Contact) ultra-slim LED pot lights for insulated ceilings.
